Translation notes 2

2:2–31 — Camp and march. The four principal standards organize three tribes apiece around the tent of meeting. Their east, south, west, and north positions, totals, and marching order are retained. The precise appearance of the standards and ancestral signs is not described.

2:14 — Reuel. This verse has Reuel where 1:14 has Deuel. The translation preserves that difference rather than selecting one spelling for both.
